One in every thousand people in the world is deaf. The Deaf are a large population that responds when they are taught the Word in their own language. SIBI’s ministry training for and with the Deaf thoroughly
prepares hearing and deaf people for effective ministry, whether it is starting a new church or working in an existing ministry among the Deaf.
The Deaf are taught the same in-depth Bible curriculum by ministers who are either deaf or have lived in the Deaf culture. A complete sign language curriculum and courses in deaf culture prepare interpreters to bridge the language gap for Deaf Christians. Together these ministries proclaim the good news of Jesus to those who otherwise would not hear.
