About Sunshine Church of Christ: Sunshine Church of Christ, a 100 year old congregation is located in Minford, Ohio and is looking to fill a Full Time Pulpit Minister position. We have approximately 150 members, four Elders, nine Deacons, a Full Time Family Life/ Campus Minister, a part time Youth Minister and a Office Manager. Our congregation does not use instrumental music. We are searching for someone with a passion to promote growth in relationship with the Lord, relationships with one another and outreach to the lost.
Purpose: This is a minister position to serve the Lord with a passion and sincere love for God in the area of Pulpit Minister. This ministry is to promote growth in relationship with the Lord, relationships with one another and outreach to the lost. The purpose is to glorify God in word, worship and daily lives.
Scope of Responsibility: The Pulpit Minister will work within the vision and mission of the Sunshine Church of Christ, under the direction of the Eldership and as a member of the ministry team (Elders, Deacons, Family-Life Minister, Youth Minister and Office Manager). Provide leadership for planning and coordinating of activities, functions and events of the Sunshine Church of Christ. Expected to be the leader and to provide the guidance necessary to get the most and best results from the ministry programs. Coordinate ministry planning and facilitation and keep the Elders advised. His life must be a model that demonstrates he is a faithful Christian, husband and/or father. Set a proper example of Christian behavior at all times.
